Experiential Brand Activation for MALIN+GOETZ

SCENT STATE is a project rooted in the brand activation area, designed specifically for the established beauty brand of MALIN+GOETZ. The concept explored within this project analyses the intersection between technology, emotions, and wellness through the innovative approach of biometric scent mapping. This would give the possibility to visitors to embark in a deeply personal, multi-sensory journey that connects memory, identity, and mood all at once. This project has been designed to be takes place within a minimalistic yet futuristic pop-up event that has a science-forward approach. Ultimately, the main scope of this project was to examine how emotional technology can reshape the modern retail experience by transforming the consumer journey into one driven by scent storytelling and digital interactivity, with the goal to then be able to position MALIN+GOETZ as a leader in the sensorial innovation and mindful luxury. This project was the demonstration of how Gaia’s abilities in developing experiential brand concepts that are on the verge between creative strategy and consumer psychology sharpened. Further, it allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of how luxury brands leverage emerging technologies as meaningful extensions to their identity and values as a brand.
